The 15th Exhibition in Tokyo (2019)

The 15th Commemorative Exhibition and the 1st Tokyp Exhibition of USA Meito Shodo-Kai Calligraphy Association was held at the Art Salon Mainichi in TaKebashi, Tokyo from September 23 to 28 in 2019. It was our honor to hold the very first exhibition as an “overseas” Calligraphy association in Tokyo.

On the evening of the 24th, a reception to celebrate the exhibition as well as calligraphy demonstration by Master Fujii were held in the gallery. Our honord guests form the Agency for Cultural Affairs, US Embassy, Tesshin Shodo Kai and Mainich Shodo Kai kindly delivered warm speech for Meito Shodo Kai.

Over the six days we welcomed more than 500 visitors to the exhibition with the artworks which each member worked on very respectfully and tirelessly.
