花宮難久別　道者憶千燈　

残雪入林路　深山歸寺僧

日光依嫰草　泉響滴春冰　

何用求方便　看心是一乘

It was hard, leaving the temple for so long

Remember thousands of lanterns on the road

Snow lingered as the path entered the woods

Priests returned to the temple deep in the mountains

Sunshine lit up the fresh fields

There is an echo of water dripping as spring time melts the ice

Why seek the hasty preaching of the priests?

You can follow your own heart, the one true teacher.
